The Adventureland children's ministry exists to help kids develop into spiritual champions and equip and encourge parents to be their kids number one spiritual influence, but our number one physical priority is the safety and security of your children.
The nursery and preschool children have a simple and quick security system in place for their protection. At the entrance of Adventureland you will find a board with numbered keytags. Regular attenders have a consistent security number that they will use each week, one for each child. Visitors will receive a tag number V1, V2, etc. Check out this picture of what the tag looks like.
Ain't that cute? There are five different designs, and each of your nursery and preschool children will have a set of these tags with a unique number. Your child has the one with the clip placed on their collar in the back and you keep the second tag. The matching tag MUST be presented in order for your child to be released. Nursery tags also include a second tag with a clip for you to attach to your child's diaper bag.
This system is used on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Your child's teachers or leaders should ask for the tag every single time you are present at these times. This very simple system helps us ensure that only the parent or guardian you designate will receive access to your kids. If you have any questions or suggestions, please email steve@donelson.org.
