May 20 is Recruitment Sunday at TDF. It may be the day that someone agrees to serve in a ministry area that will lead to a preschooler accepting Christ. Today may be the day someone discovers they really have a knack for organizing ministry events. It could be a day for someone to make their first foray into serving at church. Whatever your situation is, we hope you will prayerfully consider what God is doing in and through the ministries at TDF and ask yourself, “How can I serve at TDF?”

Just a few weeks ago the Tennessee Titans added some good draft picks to their roster. These players will hopefully help the team improve in every area of their game next year. Next week, all the ministries at TDF hope to add to their already stellar roster through TDF Recruitment Sunday. Every ministry at TDF depends upon volunteer leaders, teachers and directors to provide outstanding care and teaching. Do you want to be a part of one of these ministry teams? Every
ministry will have a table set up in the Café Lobby to sign up new team members. More information about the various ministry team spots (like the Greeters Ministry, picture right, or helping on a clean up crew, picture left, or other ministries pictured below) will be in next week’s program. Stay tuned to the program and our website at donelson.org.

One of the highlights of the summer is Adventureland's Super Summer Bible School. This year will be no exception! The theme for this summer is Incrediworld Amazement Park, from Answers in Genesis. Each night of fun will revolve around a focused teaching from the Bible with the goal being to instill a biblical worldview into the kids who attend. Our desire is that children and their families understand and believe that God is truth, that His Word, the Bible is true and that they can base their entire life on these bedrock truths.

During the past two summers, TDF has offered a week-long Super Summer Bible School for kids inside and outside of our church. Many of you reading this today may have brought your kids and their friends to these events, and we say, “thanks!” We are praying you will join us this summer for more exciting times at TDF.
For the summer of 2012, we’re trying a different approach for Super Summer Bible School. Our team strives to provide an excellent program that kids will love every Wednesday night with Awana during the school year, and we’re planning SSBS to be an extension of that level of excitement and excellence throughout the summer. We believe your kids will love it!
So, instead of the week-long approach to our program, SSBS will run once each week during an expanded Midweek U time of 6:30-8:30 pm.
The nights for SSBS are: June 20th, June 27th, July 11th, July 18th and July 25th.
There is no cost for this great summer of fun and adventure at TDF. To pre-register your kids for Super Summer Bible School contact the church at office@donelson.org, call the church office at 871-4769 or sign them up at TDF during our pre-registration days on Sundays during the month of May!
