TDF wants to be a partner to parents in raising your children. Parents are the primary spiritual caregivers of their children. The church comes alongside parents in that interesting and vital process to be a partner, a helper, a coach, a friend. We want to provide as many resources as possible for you, as parents, to help in raising your children in the care and admonition of the Lord. On this page you will find resources, websites, books, materials and conferences which will help you be the parent God wants you to be.
If you have any questions or need any help with any of these resources, please contact the church office. Our Children's Pastor, Steve Greenwood, our Student Pastor, Aaron Pontious, or our Minister of Adults, Curt Holland, will be glad to give you any help you need in the most important job in the world, parenting!
All children, youth and almost all of our adult LifeGroups use D6 curriculum, published by Randall House. As described by Randall House at d6family.com:
D6 Curriculum (based on Deuteronomy 6:4-9) aligns small group environments at church to where the entire family is studying the same theme at the same time. The cool thing is, it doesn’t stop at the church worship experience. This one of a kind, effective discipleship curriculum helps parents reconnect with kids and teens through the use of devotional magazines, Splink, Family Links, and other take home resources that help equip parents to drive the Christian faith experience into the home.
Home Connections is just one of the terrific resources provided in D6 curriculum. Home Connection is the one page for every age! Home Connection is a brand new one-stop resource for connecting the entire family based on the D6 curriculum. This downloadable page provides you with:
* A weekly Bible passage to read together as a family
* Suggestions to help you pray together as a family
* Suggested activities to do to put your faith in action
Home Connection also lets parents know exactly what each member of the family is learning in the D6 curriculum, providing the theme, Scripture text, and the take away for each age level. This way parents know exactly what each family member is experiencing in his or her church discipleship class. It’s an easy way to implement Faith at Home!
Here are each week of Home Connections for the Spring Quarter, March - May, 2012.

It's never been more difficult to be a parent than today. With so many pressures, demands and influences on the family it's hard to raise children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. The good news is there has never been more resources to help families do just that. Here are a few more excellent resources.
